I got one and the touch screen is better than I expected. It's made of hard plastic and I don't know, probably works the same way a touch pad on a computer works, but I don't know how they get it clear (I know how the old touch screens worked, with a grid of wires and such, but I think tis is different) Asfar as durability, I still have one of the old fat Ipods from way back, and other than a dead battery, it still works, so I don't know.

I don't know much else about it, I wanted a music player, but it's supposed to play movies or something to, but I'm to cheap to pay the $5 extra to get DVD's with the Digital movie built in so I may never know how that works.
