I just wanted to alert any fans of cameras manufactured in the former Soviet Union (Zorki, Fed, Kiev, LOMO, etc.) & other communist nations that there's a great community on Flickr dedicated to using these cameras.
On May 1st every year is International Commie Camera Day. The rules are simple: use a Commie Camera to take some shots, post the results to the pool. True, this date has just passed, but there are plans to hold another event in Oktober, so feel free to drop in, join the community & share your knowledge and experiences...
(Maybe not the most elegant of invitations, but ehhh...I'm not that good with these kinds of things.)
